Dear Pascale’s Pals,
When our daughter, Emily was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, we became acquainted with a great organization and what it does for families with children who have life threatening illnesses, as well as all children cared for at Children’s Hospital. We had often seen stickers on items such as a train table at the cardiologist’s office saying “Donated By Pascale’s Pals.” During the time Emily was diagnosed with CF, we had a 6 week hospital stay. Each time I asked for something: a stroller to walk the halls, a wagon, high chair or even a sippy cup it would have the same Pascale’s Pals sticker. I remember thinking, wow, Pascale’s Pals does so much for all of the kids up here, as well as making the stay for parents easier.
One of our stays happened to be over Thanksgiving. Again, the thoughtfulness of Pascale’s Pals providing all families with breakfast and turkey dinner made my husband and I thankful to have such a caring and generous organization in Columbia.
While dealing with all of Emily’s setbacks, Pascale’s Pals has not only thought of Emily and her needs, but everyone in our family. We are grateful for all the toys, inspirational book, personal items, support, and prayers.
Thank you for all you do!!
