Pascale’s Pals has contributed $95,000 for the equipment and the University Hospital has provided the labor. We want to make a special thank you for Cindy Brooks, who never gave up on this project, Cindy Grueber, for giving the official GO on the project, James Salmo, for administering the project and Don England, for his time and effort in the layout, planning and overall supervision of the park. This great accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without your help at our past six auctions. |

7th Annual Hematology/Oncology Picnic. On June 17, Pascale's Pals had the opportunity to join with the Children's Hospital and some other organizations to support the Seventh Annual Hematology/Oncology Pediatric Picnic. It was wonderful to watch the patients, their families, their nurses and doctors come together to have fun and support each other without the kids worrying about going to the clinic and being treated. Please click on the photo to view a slide show from the picnic. |

Pascale’s Pals Baskets. Included in each basket are: Bibles, inspirational books, toys, games, music puzzles, and journals specifically chosen for each family member’s needs –-- oftentimes Gameboys and iPods --- so they have entertainment during their hospital stay. A team of volunteers who pray with the family tries to deliver a basket within one week of the child’s initial diagnosis because we know this is a very emotional time for the family. We believe in the healing power of prayer. (About 25 per year.) |
